It is impossible to make anyone do whatever you want in place of what they want. In a case where you "know" the "right" thing, and assume that they are doing the "wrong" thing it becomes even harder as you have no proof of your correctness and better understanding. Added tothis you are effectively telling the other person that they are either too stupid or too evil to be aware of the problem.
