How do you convince your parents to let you wear a bikini?

Okay, I'm on the same page as you, girl. My mom WILL NOT let me wear a bikini, much less a tankini that shows a sliver of skin. I have an idea of HOW to, but it may not work.

1. I would start being really helpful around the house. Doing chores when your supposed to, doing dishes and laundry, etc. Hopefully your parents will notice your helpful actions.

2. After a few days of help (min. max. 3 weeks), ask them. If they say no right away, don't start whining. All parents' pet peeves are whining, so don't do it!.

3. When they say no, ask why calmly. They may say 'just because', which is the EXACT same thing my mom and dad say. Ask them if it's something that you are doing, if you're too young (not really if you're over the age of 12), or if it's something else. Talk it out. At the end tell them to think about it, and remember to add in why you want to wear one in the first place. Hope this helps and satisfies :)

Don't try to make her do something she does not want to do. She may want to follow God's word and wait until marriage to show off her body.
