∙ 11y agoIf she hasn't said no yet, ask before you attempt some type of manipulation. If she says (or already has) no, then the best way is to show some maturity and responsibility and accept her answer and move on with your life until you are old enough to have it done yourself. You may be successful further down the road if you ask again and try discussing her reasons for not wanting you to have it. Note: I said discuss, not argue or yell or call her stupid. Ask why she doesn't want you to get the piercing, if she gives you a reason you can't counter or refuses to give one, continue with accepting it and leaving it until you're of age to get it on your own. If she gives you a reason you can counter, calmly explain why you don't think her concerns are a problem and see what happens then.
It might be a good idea to do some research on proper healing techniques and the specifics (the way it is performed, potential risks, and even proper jewelry) of the piercing you would like, if for no other reason than the ability to calm any fears and show that you know what you are getting yourself into with the piercing.
