Well the game is for 18 plus, but you probably already know that. I would make sure you are on a good note with your parents before trying to convince them to let you get it. Tell them that you understand that there is all of the blood, and cussing, and nudity (which isn't really even there, so tell them that) and that you know it is bad. Say that you aren't that impressionable and you are mature enough to understand the fine line between Video Games and real life and that you understand that a game is just a game and nothing more. Try pointing out that the reason we like these kinds of games is that it is so far from reality it appeals to us, because it's nothing like what we experience. Finally tell them that you know that it is just a game and tell them that it won't effect you and if it does (which it won't ;D i hope) they can take it away. Oh, and never ever EVER yell or raise your voice be calm even though it can be very aggravating. And if it doesn't work try to get another family member or friend to get it for you as a present.
You don't. The game is "Mature" or "18+" in many countries. If parents buy this rated game for an under-age consumer, then the parents have not done research on the game's content and are not abiding to the rules in place for purchasing mature / adult rated games.
This maybe is an unpopular view with many young consumers, but for game developers of mature rated games, it is a very very important topic. Responsibility of this issue is mainly acknowledged by games developers and the focus is now being directed at shops selling the items and the unknowing parents which buy the products for under-age consumers.
(Please read the UK's special government report called the "Byron Review" which talks about these matters).
An answer by example:
If a parent bought an mature / adult rated game for an under-age consumer, then this gives consent to ALL forms of adult rated content in media like books, video, and internet and also all forms of topics such as rape, murder, and other adult focused or rated themes.

Well, if they don't look too much into the games that you play, then it's easy. Technically, the category of all GTA games is Racing, so if they are not too strict, they might let you play it. I had the same problem and my parents let me play it. Hope it works out!
It will be easier to buy it yourself. Just beg them for money and do chores if you are too young to get a job
plz help me with this plz! i have no answer sorry
The answer is to not, this game is not suitable for children. It's rated M for Mature, but if you feel like you are mature enough to play the game just tell them that.
