There are several keystrokes for common tasks.

Select the text you want to use.

The following keystrokes will now work:

Copy = Comnd c (at that point you can paste. Comnd v) You can paste as many times as you want.

Delete = Comnd x or Delete or delete->

Bold = Comnd b

Underline = Comnd u

Italics = Comnd i

If you do something and don't like it, you can try doing the command again, or pressing Comnd z to undo.

How come there is no copy and paste on a mac?

There is a copy and paste function on Macs. It is essentially the same as PC type computers, but rather than pressing the Ctrl-C keys, you press Command-C. The command key is located on the keyboard below the X-key. You can copy exactly as you do on a PC using the mouse.

How do you upload a video from your NikonD5000 to a MacBook Pro Laptop?

The Nicon uses an SD card for storage. The MacBook Pro's newer models have an SD slot. Just plug the card into the mac and find the files you need. Copy them and paste them where you need them, or drag them where you want them. If you don't have a new MacBook, get an external SD hub with a USB connection.
