Simply plug the pen drive into the Mac and then find the disk icon on the desktop, open it, find the files you want then click and hold onto the file and drag it to the desktop. It's called Drag and Drop.
The macbook air super-drive is basically a disk drive(like the ones you find in other mac laptops). You can use it to play dvds, cds and games.
Apple sells an external Super Drive (CD/DVD drive) that plugs into your MacBook Air's USB port.
The MacBook Air does not have an internal optical drive, but you can buy an external one for $99 at any Best Buy.
just drag it
it depends... Pro has better things in it and is better for the pro and better for editing movies and other things like that Air turns on in like 5 seconds and o is awesome but doesn't have some important features like a CD drive. I would prefer a macbook Pro but i just have a macbook.
I'd say either a Macbook original, or a Macbook Air. They are both small, and are the same price of $999. Don't go buying a Macbook Pro, that laptop is expensive and to a 12-year old, it makes no difference between a Macbook Air and Macbook Pro. Both MAcbook Air and original Macbook have high memory for games and school projects, downloads etc. Take note that the Macbook Air has no disc drive. So if he or she is into watching movies or playing CDs, choose the original Macbook. Hope this helps!
Macbook air
MacBook is Good portable computers. If you want a desktop that is the best a Mac Pro i the best out of all the Macs. But if you want something simple and not to high tech then a MacBook is the way to go.
As there is no built in DVD drive in the MacBook Air your options are: - purchase a separate DVD drive to plug-in to the computer - wirelessly connect to another computer (Mac OS or WIndows) which is able to share their DVD drive. - join the 21st century and watch a movie from online sources such as iTunes.
The MacBook will need to access the disc from the disc drive of another computer on the same network (See links below).
That 128GB drive is actually an SSD not a Hard Drive and no it isn't possible to replace the internal drive in a mac
The Pro is about half a pound heavier than the air. 13" air is 2.96 pounds. 13" pro is 3.57 pounds. The Air also does not have a CD/DVD drive.
