There are many ways to do this but before I answer - let me caution against TOO MUCH copyrighting. The Web 2.0 model of business is sharing content on website which ultimately benefits site traffic among other business needs.
Further - there are now sites which sell scripts which can essentially copy a site design for another should it be desired.
Copyrights can happen the following ways (but not limited to):
- Built into header meta data
- Inserted into footer info
- Website HTML code insert
- Addressed in 'terms of service'
- Addressed in website privacy policy
Copyrights which are most often infringed are image snatches. When viewing site statistics and should you have images desirable enough to be clipped - there are 5-10 second visits.
These are probably copyright infringements on images.
