how to create a good smokey eye:

first things first - to get the best smokey eye you should use professional brushes but if you don't have any - shade well.

1 apply thin black eyeliner along the base of your top lashes (liquid or stick) (if you have professional brushes you can use the slanted brush to apply liner.

2 use light brown eye shadow and shade the couture area of your eye. work the light brown up a bit but don't go too high to the eye brown.

3 next is the outer and middle corners of your eyes- apply black eye shadow to the base of your top lashes and lightly go to meet the light brown shadow- you want to connect the two colors then nicely blend them together.

4 to make your eyes look more "finished" you could put some white sparkly eye shadow in the corners of your eyes and just under the eye brow - make sure to shade well

5 next apply the black eye liner to your bottom eye lashes - and rub in lightly to create a more smokey look

6 apply mascara if you would like
