Mardi Gras in Alabama typically takes place in Mobile, Alabama. It is a festive event that takes over the entire city. On Fat Tuesday businesses shut down, schools are closed and the party begins. Beautiful floats fill the city streets from morning to early evening accompanied by high school marching bands and drill teams. Music floats through the air and fun is had by all. Just imagine an entire city gathering together, putting on some music and dancing the day away. Vendors line the streets to sell a variety of items including Mardi Gras T-Shirts, corndogs, pizza, hamburgers, cokes and alcohol. Food is definitely not missing from Mardi Gras. Many families set up their own areas, complete with couches and grills to turn the event into a giant tailgating party. But don't worry if you didn't bring a grill and vendor food is not your thing...the Moon Pies and candies will rain from the floats all day.One of the 'prized' items during Mardi Gras are the infamous Mardi Gras beads. Purple, green and gold beads adorn the necks of virtually everyone you will see on the street. So to sum up, "How is Mardi Gras in Alabama", well it's an awesomeexperience everyone needs to try, at least once.
Mardi Gras is most famously celebrated in New Orleans, Louisiana, where vibrant parades, elaborate costumes, and lively festivities take place. However, it is also observed in various other places around the world, including Rio de Janeiro in Brazil and Venice in Italy, each with its own unique cultural traditions. The celebration typically occurs before Lent, culminating on Fat Tuesday.
Mardi Gras is a time of celebration that is often accompanied by extravagant costumes. Perhaps second only to Halloween in terms of inspiring elaborate garb, Mardi Gras inspires all kinds of reverly, and it's up to individuals to decide just how they want to participate. Many people choose to wear elegant clothing for Mardi Gras, treating it like a ball. Indeed, masquerade balls are popular during Mardi Gras, and at these events, you will find couples dancing in expensive gowns and splashy suits while wearing intricate masks, some of which may cost even more than the outfits. Masks are a major part of Mardi Gras, and master mask makers produce them in all styles imaginable. If you want to make it so that you are unrecognizable, that should be easy to arrange. However, you do not need to spend hundreds of dollars on an authentic Venetian mask in order to join in the fun of mask-wearing. You can manage it very inexpensively. Most costume shops sell paper masks for Mardi Gras, and these usually only cost a few dollars at most. You can always buy one of these. You might also choose to make your own mask. Paper plates make an excellent mask base; once you've cut the plate in such a way that it will fit comfortable on your face, you can decorate it with markers, crayons, glitter, sequins, feathers and any other assorted oddments that occur to you. Anything goes on Mardi Gras, so if you want to treat it basically as another Halloween, no one will give you a hard time about it. Whatever costume you want to wear will be acceptable. If you don't want to wear a costume, that's fine too. You can still get into the fun of the holiday with an outfit that reflects the holiday. For instance, you might buy a t-shirt with a Mardi Gras saying on it or wear several strings of plastic beads. At the very least, you should wear gold, purple or green, preferably in combination with each other. There's no such thing as a bad Mardi Gras costume. Simply use your creativity, and whatever you pick will be fine.

Some common symbols for Mardi Gras include masks, which represent celebration and mystery; beads, symbolizing different aspects of faith; and the colors purple, green, and gold, each with its own meaning—justice, faith, and power, respectively. Fireworks are often used to illuminate the celebration, while flowers like lilies and roses convey different messages of purity and love.
A ship can float on water because of buoyancy. The shape of the ship and the displacement of the water it pushes aside when it enters the water create an upward force that counteracts the downward force of gravity. This buoyant force allows the ship to float and support its own weight.
Ships float because they displace enough water to create an upward force called buoyancy that is greater than their weight. Coins sink because they are denser than water and therefore displace less water than their own weight.

The most famous city in Brasil is Rio de Janeiro, followed by Sao Paulo. Rio de Janeiro is beautiful and that attracts many tourists. especially because of our wonderful beachesand beautiful people. I say that from my own experience, since I lived there all my life
Put each necklace in a small "Glad" bag. You can zip it up and see through the plastic to find the color you want. It also prevents all the strings of beads from tangling. *There is also another way. I own a bead store. What we do is take plastic bags and cut strips out of them. This creates a "loop" of plastic. Take the loop thru all of the strands you want grouped. Then either tie the strip (most secure) or loop the strip thru itself, much like you would hook two rubberbands together. Once you have these groups tied you can then pick them up by the tie strip. Sometimes we even loop a strip thru the small groups to create a larger group. We have been using this method for many years. You can also cut strips of paper, slip them thru the strands you want grouped and staple the band around the groups. Have fun at Mardi Gras
If its average density is less that water, it will displace more than its own weight in water, and it will float.
