i have the irrational fear of cleithrophobia have had since i was nine years old when i got locked inside a shed for 2 hours before anybody realsied. it wasnt that long but to my mind it seemed like forever i still feel panic rising when somebody locks a door or the lift doors slide closed. but the way i get through is by forcing myself to get into lifts and by letting people lock doors. if your two year old is uncomfortable dont force them too soon or the fear way be with them forever. the way i have got through was by slowly getting acumstomed to being locked in
