I think your best bet is to either take it to the vet, or just let it die. Hamsters are cheap enough to be replaced. Vet bills would be huge. My hamster just died a couple months ago... I might buy another... they are only like $20.
A tumor on a hamster can appear as a visible lump or swelling on the body. The tumor may vary in size and shape, and it can be either firm or soft to the touch. A vet should examine any abnormal growth on a hamster to determine if it is a tumor and assess appropriate treatment options.
Take it to the hospital if i were you. If you did that than hope he/she lives. Sorry bout your hamster
it wqill have a lump on its butt
No, sorry.
I would not attemp to remove the tumor myself (one of my hamsters had a tumor) but to take it to a vet to have it surgically removed if they think necessary.
you should ask your local vet about that...

hamster tumors are just the same as a humans. When you start to feel small or large bumps on a hamster you will know that its a sign and you should immediately take your hamster to the vet, and they will see what they can do, or if your hamster is in pain, they can put your hamster to sleep humanely.
