The best thing to do when you have a yeast infection is to keep the area clean by washing it with soap and water daily and to not wear thongs or tight panties so air can pass through down there, and it won't become too much of a warm, moist area for bacteria to grow. Yogurt has certain good bacteria in it that is good for helping get rid of vaginal infections. You may also consider buying over the counter creams for yeast infections. If the infection persists or gets worse after a week or two be sure to consult your doctor.
