Well, it depends on what kind of illness it is. If it has a disease, then your best bet would be to take it to a vet. For a common cold, ask your vet for cold medicine. (If they have it) I'm not a cat expert. If they don't have cold medicine, it might get better on it's own.

If you are seeing that you are having a hard time with that, you need to go to your doctor and talk to him/her about it.
