A one off event is treated quite differently to a chronic or long term situation. Find someone you can Trust and talk about it if possible. another answer - Depression is not something you can just "solve". It is caused by a chemical imbalance in the brain - can either be genetic or nutrition related. It could also be misdiagnosed = for example an underactive thyroid can cause symptoms of depression. There are different treatment options - medication. theraphy, etc. You really need to read and educate yourself about depression - it's a complex subject - to understand your best treatment options.
