1. spray a heat protectant in your hair.

2. Part your the way you'd like to, and separate sections.

3. then take a 1/2" curling iron and take a small section of hair, and wrap around curling iron instead of using the clamp.

4. hold hair for about 5-10 seconds.

5. Hairspray each section of hair after each half is done.

6. run finishing serum through hair to cancel out frizz.(optional, but it helps.)

7.hairspray the final look.

8. make sure to curl your hair away from your face.

The best way I know is to curl your hair starting at the top of the strand around the outside of the barrel of a curling iron. A smaller barrel will give more defined curls. Hold the iron either horizontally or pointed downward, which ever way is more comfortable. starting at the top of a strand, wrap the strand, starting at the bottom of the iron (and without opening the iron) around the outside of the barrel. This is actually healthier for your hair than the normal method of curling, because the part touching the hot surface the longest is not the thin ends that will burn. The look produced should be curls that are looser than ringlets, but not natural curls. Also, because of the way you're holding the iron, it is easy to burn yourself, so be careful!
