There should be no need to cut anything off. If the beads do not turn use a pair of pliers to hold the bottom bead while using another pair on the top bead to turn the beads counter clock wise (to the left), you will need to get some help with this from someone else to avoid pinching the tissue in the pliers. Keeping in mind that the beads will be damaged by using pliers on them and the jewellery will be garbage. If you want to retain the jewellery go see a professional body piercer to have the jewellery removed.
