you have to use a skyward strike but instead of doing it over the skulltula u have to flip it over onto its back but slicing it under the skulltula then use the ending blow on its glowing spot to defeat it.

∙ 9y agoThe method of defeating them varies slightly by game, but it usually involves slashing their backside with your sword, or using another weapon to kill them from afar. To do this, you have to wait for them to reveal their backside (not possible in Skyward Sword, since you have to slash them the right way to get them to reveal their backside), and then slash it with your sword.

∙ 12y agowhen you enter the house in kakiriko village (the one with posters and half a fence round it) you will see 5 skulltuilla's 4 small ones in the coners and one big one in the middle. The small ones complain that they have been cursed. Gadorf cursed them but no one else they are actually children. To destroy the curse you need to kill gold skulltuilla's. they go up in 10's so you have to kill 10 to free the first kid he will give you a rubee you need to kill 20 for the 2nd kid he will give you a adult wallet that can hold 200 rubee's you kill 30 to free the next kid he will give you a wallet holding up to 500 rubee's i don't know about the other 2 because i haven't got that far in the game.
