How do you defeat elite four in Pokemon platinum?

2 get 2 the elite 4 u have 2 get thru victory road. u need waterfall, surf, rock climb, rock smash, and strength. once ur at the elite 4, you have 2 beat them 1 by 1. assemble this team:

Infernape or other strong fire pkmn (should know fight moves)

Palkia or other strong water pkmn (should know dragon moves)

Torterra or other strong earth pkmn (should know dark moves)

Roserade or other strong grass pkmn (should know bug moves)

Luxray or other strong thunder pkmn (should know discharge)

Staraptor or other strong flying pkmn (should know fly)

here is how 2 beat them;

AARON

get infernape or something 2 kill all his guys, for his drapion use a strong ground move from a strong ground pkmn.

BERTHA

whiscash, golem & quagsire will get screwed by giga drain or leaf storm or something like that. as for hippowdon and rhyperior, u can kill them by using surf with a strong pkmn.

FLINT

you can easily kill all his guys with the surf that u have. palkia is a good choice for the pkmn that nose surf (if u don't have empoleon).

LUCIAN

by far the hardest, but u can kill bronzong with ur fire pkmn, and u can kill gallade and medicham with ur flying pkmn, and u can kill his other pkmn with ur strongest pkmn, especially if its torterra make it know bite, or if u have a pkmn that nose a bug move.

CYNTHIA

for spiritom use ur strongest pkmn, nothing's good against it just don't use any psychc or ghost pkmn. for milotic use ur thunder pkmn, for togekiss use infernape he's got fighting moves. 2 kill garchomp use palkia's dragon moves. 4 lucario take out infernape, use fire or fight moves on it cuz lucario's steel. then use infernape 4 roserade and ur good.
