Assuming you were fooled by the Binary Bard (posing as the Princess), you have to defeat the Puzzle Door, which reveals that the Bard is actually Mordred. Press the correct 10 panels, once each, to reveal the picture. Press all four of the panels in the 2nd row, the two middle panels in the 3rd row, and all four panels in the 4th row (in any order). Reset if necessary before doing this.

Merlin the owl is used to defeat Mordred by flying across the battlefield picking up bombs and dropping them on the enemy. Eventually Merlin is disabled and you will need to used the chandeliers on the stage to finish off Mordred's hitpoints.
