How do you defend Red in soul silver?

i recmmend starting off with typhlosion and only using 3 Pokemon so no others will hog your exp on the way to around lvl 80 cause if you do it with all 6 they will make it to lvl 60 when you fight elite four for the second time with 16 badges sooo use 3 and give them powerful atks like flamethrower, blizzard, thunderbolt/ thunder i prefer thubnder bolt casue thunder doesnt seem to work some times and bnever use charge hits like solar beam and or hyper beam but THE BEST MOVE AGAINST RED IS EARTHQUAKE take it from me with pokemons at lvl 85 3 of them and hitting his Pokemon with earth quake, pikachu goes down in one hit, charizard to, and the rests like venasaur and blastoid goo down to red soo use earthquake and if you don't know where he is (climb to the highesat point in mount silver not the other way deep in waterfalls where moltress is). that is all
