There is no root account in Windows XP. Nor is there an account that is a "superuser" account in the traditional sense.
If you are using Windows XP or Vista you need to be in another Administrator account. Then to go Control Panel, Users, and click on the user you want to delete. If there is only one admin account on the computer, you cannot delete it. The procedure is different in Leopard (OS X) and Linux.
you have to boot from something else, whether it be a floopy disk, thumb drive, or setup cd. you can't delete files that you are currently using. if you boot into windows xp you can't delete windows xp.
You can't delete the firewall. You can turn it off or on only.

Windows XP will not change an administrator account to limited if it is the only administrator account on the system (other than the account named Administrator).
In order to delete the Windows XP virtual machine that you created simply right click the virtual machine that you wish to delete, select "Remove" in the menu that appears, then select "Delete all files". After that, if you wish to delete your .ISO file, move it to the recycle bin and then empty the recycle bin.
