Your iPod will not delete apps on its own. You must delete the apps yourself.
Now you will not delete all your apps. If you restore your ipod it will delete all your apps but you can always re-download for free, even if it cost $ before. (Don't update if you have a jailbroken ipod)
when you restore an ipod it doesn't delete your songs or apps but it will delete your high scores from the last time you sync your ipod.
Hold down for about three seconds on an app and they will shake. Click the red X and it will delete. You can't do this on apps that came with the ipod. :)

No. If you sync your iPod it wont delete your apps. But if you click "Restore" while the iPod is plugged in, then it will restore you iPod to how it was when you bought it (no apps, no contacts, etc.) and then update it to the newest version of software.
Apps can be removed at any time, but all apps that are on the iPod Touch will remain there unless you delete them.
you can it is on itunes but i cant get it to download onto my ipod...
