In order to erase previously saved data on a memory card for the Nintendo 64, you have to hold the start button while you turn on the N64 game system with the game cartridge in it. It should direct you to the Memory Card Manager. From there you can see all the game saves and data stored on the card. All you have to do now is select the games/data files you want to delete.

∙ 12y agoThe easiest way to clear data from the N64 is to load a game that has a save/load feature and one that shows your memory usage. Such as NFL Quarterback Club 99. From the load/save option you should be able to delete any file you want, which will clear up N64 Data on a memory card.
If the game has a built in save feature like Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros., or Banjo-Kazooie than find the options and under options look for a reset the game button or clear existing memory.

∙ 12y agoYou'll find your answer simple. This was previously answered, but first, hold the 'Start' button, then power on the N64, and keep the start button held until you get to the 'Controller Pak Menu'. You'll be able to delete any un-needed game saves if you need the memory for other games.

∙ 14y agoYou can't delet data on the card unless its a controller pak if you hold start while loading a game that uses the controller pak a menu shows up this is where you can delete files on your controller pak. To erase any game on a expansion pak the red thing you must play a game that needs the pak and erase the files that are on it.
