Actually, you can't delete an AIM acount or screen name. It's impossible. But if you don't you screen name, just tell your friends to delete you off there buddy list and delete all your friends, and never use your screen name again. That's what I did.

That depends on how you are connected to AIM. If you are using the actual AOL Instant Messenger program then you would simply exit out of the program and indicate you wish to disconnect, not just minimize the program. For the web client, usually clicking on your status and choosing "go offline" or "logout" works. As for other clients, it would depend on the client in question.

You can select all mail by clicking the small tick box above your mail, this will select all. Then just click delete.
