On Windows 7 you must have at least one administrator account at all times. If your main account is a standard account, that's fine, but you must also keep an administrator account. In fact, it is recommended that people use a standard account for everyday use and only use an administrator account when needed (for example if you're going to install or uninstall any programs). You canNOT install/uninstall programs with a standard account, and there are lots of other things that you cannot do with a standard account, which is why at least one administrator account is needed.
Just use a password that you can remember for the administrator and don't give it to anyone.

The built-in Administrator account CANNOT be deleted. The standard security practice is to rename the built-in Administrator account, set a strong password on it, and create another accounts with limited privileges set, for regular use, reserving the Administrator account as a back-up in case something where to happen to your regular account. If this administrator account is one you made yourself you can delete it. 1) Open the control panel and select the user account option. 2) Select the account you wish to delete then choose the "Delete Account". 3) Then if you wish choose the "Delete all files" option.
