You can just delete the patch file once downloaded and installed by wow. You can not revert wow to a previous version because wow is auto-updating. Every client has the exact same version (for their OS).

When the trial is over, it is frozen forever. There is an option to buy the full game and unfreeze the account that you played your trial on and make that you're full game account. There is no reason to delete a free trial as it will be frozen when the trial period ends.

No, the WoW free trial only includes the original game. There are no expansions in the free trial. Also while playing a free trial account you are not able to receive mail, whisper other players (unless they have you as one of their friends), or talk in channels (i.e. Trade, General)
