If the movie is down on the timeline, then you click on it while the video is not running, and it should turn blue. If so, then click the delete button and it should go away. If it is in the clips section, it should work the same way. If you want to delete an entire project, then go to Finder, click 'Movies', then scroll to the one you want to delete, and click and drag it to the trash. Click on the trash and then the gear at the top left. Choose empty trash.
Right-click and select delete (or drag it to the trash).
You can use Apple's Quick time player to watch "mov" format videos. You can download it for free from apple's website
because of different file sizes.
It enables you to play music and videos etc on iTunes.

The movies are on my desktop and I click to upload them and it does not allow me to. The videos are .MOV and I am able to watch them in Quick Time but, I cannot upload to iMovie! HELP!
