How do you delete your match affinity dot com profile?

Normally you can't get to the setting without emailing or calling them. Here's what to do. While using the browser that you normally use to log in to your Match account, go to this URL and deactivate your account from there: http://www.match.com/resign/resignconf.aspx?rt=S&fs=0&prodam=0&lid=1000005

This hides your account from all users and stops them from sending you email. BUT they keep your account on their server for 1 year so they can claim you as one of their subscribers, even though you're no longer a paying subscriber.

*Actually, it's pretty easy. Under the "Account" tab, there's a button that says "cancel membership" or something along those lines and it deletes your profile very quickly.

This only "deactivates" your account. It does not "delete" it. Your information is still in the match dot com system.

NOPE! Wrong answer. There is no "cancel membership" under the "account" tab. There was something you could click on hidden somewhere in there but even that is gone now.
