we wont use copper as a heating element because it expands on heating and it can effect the thermostat
Descale toilet with muriatic acid
It is the THINNEST ply of copper pipe and is ONLY used for heating purposes like baseboard heating!
Heating copper carbonate causes it to decompose into copper oxide, carbon dioxide, and oxygen. When the carbon dioxide gas escapes, the overall mass of the compound decreases, resulting in a lower mass of copper carbonate after heating.
Heating copper wire and sulfur powder together will result in the formation of copper sulfide. Copper sulfide is a compound where copper and sulfur atoms are chemically bonded together.
in the heating machines
Steel iron copper alimunium are used for heating
If you are asking why DOES copper bend on heating, then i can answer that. When heat is applied, the copper molecules are spread farther apart, making the molecular structure weaker, thus you may bend it.
Copper Sulphate crystals before heating r blue....but after heating I dunno , may be u should try and ask your Sci.Miss/Sir I'll get back when I get the other answer .
