you have to design and it can take up to 1/2 a year depending on how extreme it is. then if it is steel workers at a factory make it in pieces and then they make it but if it is wooden workers will make it on the site in pieces
There are many ways that people design Roller Coasters. The most common way today is by computer-assisted design. However, one couldn't explain this in one page. It's a very intricate process, almost like designing a bridge or building. It often involves calculus and force vector design, along with electrical and computer knowledge, along with architect skills.

Yet, for those who want to design roller coasters for fun or in their spare time, there are a good bit of programs out there that do just that.
For beginners, there are the numerous RollerCoaster Tycoon videogames that let people build parks and roller coasters in simple piece-by-piece construction. However, this does not reflect real life in any way. Most of these games can be purchased in stores.
For people wanting to get their hands on what real coaster designers use (not to design their coasters, but to present the idea extremely accurately to show their design), there is NoLimits, the most realistic roller coaster simulation on the market. Even though this program has a very steep learning curve it can yield some extremely powerful results. Also, there are third-party programs that we made by other people that are made to do more in NoLimits. These programs, such as Newton, Helix Swiss Army Knife, and the infamous Purgatorium, make NoLimits easier (or harder) to use. They vary form making perfect parts of a coaster for you to involving complicated calculus to make a simple curve. Some of these programs even use the same design techniques that real coaster designers use (Newton, Purgatorium). Basically, NoLimits is the bridge barely stretching and connecting RollerCoaster Tycoon to real-life design.
Although not available in stores, it is up for download for $30. The team is also currently working on NoLimits2, which will replace NoLimits v1.72. NoLimits has constantly been updated (free for those) since it's debut in 2001, which includes unveiling new coaster types and tools.
the use cranes and those cars that have a box and lift you
The six flags roller coaster design contest is a contest where you have to design your own roller coaster, and then send it into one of the six flags amusement parks
Roller coaster's doesn't take the place of anything but it shows possession. Example: roller coaster's design
To save a roller coaster design simply select your roller coaster with your cusor and open the detials icon located to the right of the roller coaster cars design, now click the save ride icon and it will be saved. But make sure you name the ride before doing this other wise it may be saved as somthing you dont want. To delete the roller coaster go into the rct3 folder you created when you installed the game open the folder and go on coasters and simply delete the roller coaster you dont want. This is a great game, have fun playing it.
Yes. You have to design it.

The slope of a roller coaster describes how steep the roller coaster is. Knowing the angle of the slope will tell you how steep a roller coaster is.

Roller Coaster = rodilyo
You ride in the seats of a roller coaster.
Velocity is constant when the middle of the roller coaster is parallel with the ground (when the tangent of the curve the roller coaster is on has a slope of 0 at the center of mass of the roller coaster).
