Covert all your measurements into yards:
12 ft = 4 yds (as 1yd = 3 ft)
Calculate the area of the base of the pile of mulch; assuming a square base:
4yds x 4yds = 16 sq yds
Measure the height of your pile of mulch in yards.
If the pile of mulch is cuboid in shape, multiply this height by the area of the base (as previously calculated).
If the pile of mulch is pyramidal in shape, multiply this height by the area of the base and divide by 3.
stockpile volume
volume in cubic feet=0.2618*(diameter of the base squared)*height of the cone

Based on the category I am assuming we are takling dirt or mulch. 75 yds x 27 cuft (there is 27 cuft per 1 cuyd) = 2,025 cubic feet of material - 1 foot thick would be 2,025 sqft. - 6 inches thick would be 4,050 sqft. - 3 inches thick would be 8,100 sqft.
52 cubic yards = 1,404 cubic feet.
Converting cubic yards to yards doesn't make sense. Cubic yards measure volume, and yards measure distance.
Your 1 cubic meter = 1.30795 cubic yards.
Divide by 27 to convert cubic feet to cubic yards= 380/27 yards
When it comes to mulch or concrete, a so-called "yard"actually means a "cubic yard".1 cubic yard = 27 cubic feet2 cubic yards = 54 cubic feet...6 cubic yards = 162 cubic feet ( = 81 bags )
1 cubic yard will cover 15 square yards at 3 inches deep.
36 in is 1 yard 66 in is 1.8333 yards 12 in is 0.3333 yards multiply 1*1.833*.333=0.611 cubic yards
33.33 cu yds
That's 13 cubic yards of mulch for every 2 inches deep.
1 cubic yard is 3x3x3 = 27 cubic feet 49 yards = 49x27 = 1323 cubic feet 1323/2 = 661 bags - that is a lot of bags! Make sure by yards you mean actual cubic yards, not linear yards, in which case you need to know depth and width of mulch as well
One cubic yard of mulch will cover approximately 160 square feet at 2" deep, so you would need approximately two cubic yards of mulch to cover 271 square feet at 2" deep.
1 cubic yard = 27 cubic feet 4 cubic yards = 108 cubic feet Since each bag contains 2 cubic feet of mulch, the required number of bags is 108/2 which is 54
To solve this convert all measurement to a yard or square yard basis: 3 inches is 0.083333333333 yard and 1500 square feet = 1500/9 = 166.6666666666667 square yards Thus the amount of mulch you need is 166.6666666666667*0.083333333333= 13.88888888883333 cubic yards. so you need to purchase 14 cubic yards of mulch for the job.
1.85 cubic yards...probably 25 bags or so
1 cubic yard = 27 cubic feet, thus 1 cubic feet = 1/27 cubic yards and 2 cubic feet = 2/27 cubic yards (1 bag of mulch) Landscapers speak in yards of mulch needed for a garden. They are referring to cubic yards. A bag of mulch is 2 cubic feet, so you would need 13.5 bags of mulch to equal 1 cubic yard (yard of mulch)
It depends on how deep you want to lay it.
