Winchester 150-250
Your best course of action is to ask a gunsmith for help.
I'm researching the same question w/ a similar sears rifle. So far, I've discovered the sears model 5, 22cal rifle Mod No. 273-2340 & 273-2341(the one I possess) were contracted out to Winchester. Under the Sears brand, they were the Model 5. Winchester manufactured the same rifle, starting in 1963 under the Models 150 & 250. On-line auctions have the values of the Winchesters ranging from $40 to $250 depending on condition. Less info is avail. about the model 5's. The one variance I've noticed is that the forearm on the Model 5 is distinctly different from the Winchesters, that appear more on the line of the Model 94 look. But then again, Hey- I'm no expert. If you can determine the value of the Winchester branded gun, figure that the Sears name will reduce the value by 20-40%
Manufactured by Winchester for Sears. Value in typical used condition is around $100. sales@countrygunsmith.net
79919061 is the Sears Code name (799) and model(19061) for Daisy air rifle. The model number I can not verify, but model number 19062 is the "Daisy model 300." This may be your Rifle. (C02, Futuristic style, plastic stock, 5 shot) mfg 1968-1975.
The savage model 5 .22caliber rifle is valued between 40-100 dollars depending on overall condition of your rifle.

This a bb rifle given to me when i was 5 years old would like some informatin on the rifle for insurance purposes. This has been in my family for over 50 years thank you for your help on this matter ---------------------------------------Answer---------------------------------------- When you asked this question you placed a comment in the "answer" section. This caused the question to land in "ANSWERED MODE" meaning no one can see it as a question. Therefore it never got really answered until now when I was doing maintenance on it. The model 126.102940 was made by Crosman for Sears. In reality it is a Crosman model V350. See the link below for the owners manual. The rifle was made between 1961 and 1969
I believe the Peerless .22 is a department store version of the Savage Model 5 bolt action rifle. The Model 5 is the same as the Model 4 except for the addition of the tubular magazine.
I was 5 years old in 1957 when my Dad helped me hold and aim his J C Higgins model 36 22cal rifle (which I own today). When I was about 12 years old I asked him when he got his rifle. He said his dad bought it for him when he graduated from high school in 1945. http://www.histandard.info/PDF/Sears%20Rifles.pdf
