According to "Proofhouse . com" who provides serial numbers for Colt, Browning and Winchester, the .25 dates between 1909 and 1910. The .380 would date between 1909 and 1910. According to the "2007 Standard Catalog of Firearms", Colt made 409,000 between 1908 and 1941. The .25 had a starting serial number of 800 in 1909 and the year 1910 started with 21500. The .380 started with serial number 2300 in 1909 and the year 1910 started with serial number 4350. So your pistol was made between 1909 and 1910 regardless of which model, according to these sources. in cal. 380, made about 1916 in cal. 25 made about 1959
