1 year old's behave unpredictably and understand very little and you can't really discipline them for undesirable behavior. However, you can negatively reinforce undesirable behavior with a very unpleasant sensation.

Itching powder in 1 year old's diaper punishment: Every time the 1 year old does something bad, you put some itching powder in their diaper, the amount of itching powder relative to how naughty they are being, the more naughty they are, the more itching powder they get. This will of course cause the 1 year old considerable discomfort and distress from the constant itching. If you do it for long enough the 1 year old will start to associate their bad behavior with the itching and will be less naughty, not wanting any more itching.
