Well don't hit the rabbit ever don't do that ever!! One things rabbits do they scream when they are in pain or mortal danger. If your rabbit does something like bite you which they do not do for the most part unless irritated. When they do bite the mean it for one. What you can do as far as discipline is lay out a scream to them if they do something wrong. They might lilsten to this for the most part. Or you can tap on the floor next to them and say no. Hope this helped I'm not really an expert but i have knowledge thoughl. Thanks
there's a number of methods. but you must handle them as much as possible for them to get used to your scent and to get used to being handled. you can buy a toothbrush, and if they do something wrong, such as bite you, you can lightly brush the fur on the top of their head (be sure not to do it to hard) or you can blow a short blast of air onto their head. they'll soon get the message that if they continue biting you, that they'll get air in their face, or a messed up hairdo. i currently have 3 gerbils. two have their own cages, and one has his own, and ive got them eating out of my hand, literally! they sit in my hand and eat the cheese or fruit, etc.
good luck!
DO NOT LET THEM LOOSE! Either they will not be able to survive (they may be killed by predators, etc.) or they will reproduce at a rapid rate and become a problem to the neighbors.
You can sell gerbils, offer them for free to a good home, return them to your pet store, or give them to the humane society shelter. Do not kill them. Killing gerbils is cruel and inhumane animal abuse.
Ask around to see if anyone else wants them.
Gerbils are an animal and can not be "invented".
Other gerbils.
She is allergic to carbonate baking soda, orangutans, and gerbils! There's more too but those are the main ones. Sources; Big fan! P.s why?
Male gerbils can be neutered, but it is not recomended. Female gerbils should not be spayed. In general male gerbils should not be neutered unless there is a good reason for it.
Yes, mice are smaller than gerbils, but I think gerbils are the right size.
no gerbils are not originally from the UK but instead from the deserts of Asia. But you can still buy gerbils in the UK
To keep a gerbil's smell down, change their cage once a week. Once every month, scrub the tank down with water to get out any stubborn odor or stain that may have set in. Gerbils really are low in the smell category, and don't require a lot of maintenance.
Yes, e.g Mongolian Gerbils.
Gerbils and nothing else.
They do have seizures (this is common in young gerbils)
No, they are not related. Gerbils are rodents, Rabbits are not.
