Might be a stuck brake light switch its located at the top of the brake pedal
Sounds like the switch that attches to the brake pedal is not disconnecting. Look up under the dash and look where there is a device that moves when you move the pedal in and out. That should be your brake light activation switch. When you depress the pedal the switch makes contact and the brake lights come on, when you leave off the pedal the switch should open breakign the circuit. Look at the switch and see if it needs adjusted or if the switch is bad and will not disconnect thus completing the circuit makign the lights stay on
there is a switch up under the brake pedal
Disconnecting the brake light switch requires crawling under the steering column of a vehicle. The brake switch is placed behind the brake pedal and the clip for the switch will be on top. Simply unplug it.
The brake light switch is located on the brake pedal bracket. You'll need to remove the trim panel beneath the steering column to get to the switch and the connector. FriPilot

No. 6 point 12mm socket. (Cant be deep well socket though, not enough clearance for that)
Check you brake fluid and the brake switch on the proportioning value. If the fluid level is ok then disconnect the switch to see if the light goes out. Also check the parking brake switch.
Under the dash, either on the brake pedal's arm itself, or to the support structure.
possably the switch at the brake? do your brake lights work??
More than likely DOT3 but to make sure look on the top of the master cylinder cap. It is always written there.
disconnect it from your brake pedal lever.
