it's on the top of the air intake manifold just under the black pipe coming from the intercooler , the egr has a 5 wire connector going into it and has 3 bolts holding it on , remove the intercooler pipe and u will see it directly under it
You disconnect the horizontal pipe from the vertical well pipe at the wellhead, and pull up the vertical pipe.
From the Dodge forums. Drain the coolant, disconnect the surge tank to heater pipe line, and the heater core to heater pipe line, remove the drivers side engine mount, and the starter, and unbolt the heater pipe from the engine-transmission bolt. Remove the clamp from the short hose at the thermostat housing, and pull the pipe out.
Disconnect the pipe and drop a weighted string down the pipe. You can't tell by looking.
There is a small plastic thumb screw wing nut on the side, not the top of box as that is a breather pipe. Use a pipe and fill until the oil starts dribbling out, the gearbox will hold around 3 litres on a Renault Kangoo on JC1 boxes.

For heating and cooling, one pipe is a supply line and one is a return line.
The alternator oil pipe on combo van leaking does feed the vacuum and the return pipe.
