it is exstreamly important that the hair is free from tangles priot to the client returning to the wotk station.
to detangle the hair correctly start at hair ends and comb through working up the hair
REMEMBER points to roots.
it is important to detangle the hair from points to roots beacuse
- removes tangles easier
- creates less damage to the hair
- does not pull the hair
- not painfull for the clents
- prevents further tangling
It is important because when you comb the hair if it is very tangled you are going to damage the cuticle and if you damage the cuticle tiles and the hair will become porous to detangle the hair correctly start at hair ends and comb through working up the hair
REMEMBER points to roots. When the hair is porous it will become dry and if you colour it the colour will absorb quicker than normal and the colour will run out quicker than normal so it is always important to be careful when combing the hair

after washing your hair and rinsing it out thoroughly,apply some conditioner to the mid lengths and ends only.massag ethru the hair avoiding the scalp.a good tip is to bring a wide toothed comb into the shower with you and after applying the conditioner,run the comb from the ends thru to the mid lengths.always comb the hair from the ends thru to the roots NOT the other way as the hair will tangle more easily.When towelling the hair dont grabthe hair and give it a great big shake etc etc with the towel as this will only undo the work of untangling it in the shower.just pat the hair dry and comb as you go.
