The taskbar (containing the Start menu, running programs, Quick Launch and System Tray) can be positioned on any side of the screen, across the top, vertically down either side or along the bottom of the screen (which is where most people have it).
If you've chosen to autohide it, simply move the pointer close to the relevant screen area and it will re-appear.
If you right-click on a blank area of the taskbar, you can chose Properties which allow control over its behaviour and content.

To get your toolbar back in Windows, right-click on an empty area of the taskbar and select "Toolbars" from the context menu. From there, you can choose which toolbars to display, such as the Address or Links toolbar. If you're looking for the taskbar itself, ensure it's not hidden by moving your mouse to the bottom of the screen or checking the taskbar settings to ensure it’s set to "Always show taskbar." If the taskbar is missing completely, you may need to restart your computer or explore settings in the Taskbar settings under the Start menu.
To restore your toolbars in Windows 10, right-click on an empty space on the taskbar and select "Toolbars." From the list, you can check the toolbars you want to display, such as "Address" or "Links." If your toolbars are missing entirely, you can also reset the taskbar settings by right-clicking the taskbar, choosing "Taskbar settings," and checking your configuration. Restarting your computer can also help if the toolbars don’t reappear immediately.
The buttons that appear on the taskbar when windows are opened are called "taskbar buttons" or "application icons." Each button represents an open application or window, allowing users to quickly switch between them. These buttons typically display the application's icon and may show a preview of the window when hovered over.
If you're unable to see half of your taskbar on Windows 10, it might be due to an incorrectly set display scaling, a corrupted taskbar, or an issue with multiple monitors. First, try restarting your computer to see if it resolves the issue. If that doesn't help, right-click on the taskbar, select "Taskbar settings," and check the settings for taskbar location and scaling. You can also try resetting the taskbar by running the command powershell -ExecutionPolicy Bypass -Command "Get-AppXPackage | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}" in an elevated PowerShell window.
