It will take time for you to do this. As you live together or are around the pet, your actions are seen and heard by the animal. It will know your actions and it will react to them. Like when you go near the bag of food to feed it, it will know it is about to be fed. Time will teach you how to distinguish each squeak.
because they want to get your attention so you can give it food or water. My guinea pig squeaks for me to give it food or water. Or to tell you they love you!
My will squeak when i feed it and it means they are waiting for there food and want it. My guinea pigs will do that when they are hungry
YES! They make a wide range of squeaks, grunts, purring and chirping. They can be taught tricks and commands. They are loving and sweet pets also.
Well, it depends... Is it an alarming squeak, or a more calmer one. I suggest you go on the internet and type in 'guinea pig sounds' or something like that and listen to the sounds. Then see which one sounds like the one your guinea pig makes. Or you can mail me and describe the sound and what other reactions your guinea pig has. Does it flinch and run or does it climb onto you and gives you little piggy kisses? Anyways, good luck :).
It Really Depends on the Noise. if its : *Purr = they love it * Squeal = they don't want to be touched *Regular Squeak = they aren't fond of it but they let u touch it * Rumble = get ur hand out of there now!!!
