he never dies in the game but if you are talking about the movie series then no he does not come back. if you remember the statues like the one johnny was lifted up on, you will remember they turn in to beasts, like the one jax pounded or the one that ate jade. so he would have probably been eaten. besides, if you watched the second movie, the graphics are worse than in the first one. sometimes the movies are different in the game. for instance, in the first movie liu kang killed shang tsung, but in the game deadly alliances shang tsung broke liu kangs neck. and in armegeddon, liu kang comes back as a zombie,

1)its liu kang 2) he's killed by shang tsung and quan chi during the intro video of deadly alliance(you can guess who the deadly alliance is between), liu kang is brought back during deception after onaga kills raiden and the deadly alliance, onaga ressurects multiple dead characters i think liu kang was 1 of them
