A student led conference is when students lead a conference, they talk about their strengths, weaknesses, how do they plan to work on it, what are their goals for the next semester, what is their plan of success etc. in some conferences students even rate themselves. The idea is not to make you feel bad about yourself, the idea is that the students get to know what are their areas of improvement and how do they want to work on them.If you ever feel that your parents are going to scold you, ignore the feeling because they won't, in fact they will appreciate the fact that you told them your weakness instead of the teacher telling them. Lately, teachers like students to be at these conferences as well in order to contribute and to hear certain things directly. This is why it is referred to as a parent-teacher-student conference.
