The object of the parrot mini game is to get the parrot to the apple, tea cup, cake etc. But you have to do so in the time allowed and the number of ropes provided. The parrot will bounce on a rope if it is at an angle. If the rope has no slope, the parrot will sit there for a second and then continue to fly. You place ropes on the board by taking your stylus and dragging it from one post to another. But two you cannot cross ropes. Also, in the parrot mini game, it has all the directions in there plus pictures to explain how it is played.
How to get the instructions:
Go to Professor Layton's trunk in the top right hand corner of the touch screen. From there, in the center it will have the tree mini games. The parrot mini game is the one on the far right. It will open and it will have different coloured houses with people inside. in the bottom left corner it will have an icon that looks like a piece of paper with writing on it. Tap that and it will have all the instructions there, plus pictures.
When you have completed all of the levels of the parrot mini game, it will unlock the Animal Lover House in the Bonus section of the game. from there it will have three really difficult puzzles for you to solve. But don't worry. Even if you haven't unlocked it but the time you finish story mode, you can still go back to "Future London" and get the rest of the levels and try to solve them.
