How do you do team attacks in Dragon Ball Z raging blast?

Team attacks can be done by pressing the boost buttons as they appear when doing a regular attack. For Goku however you can do a fusion spirit bomb when he goes down in a team battle by pressing the assist button. You have to have certain people on your team in order to perform a team attack.
