Brown states at the beginning of his Trick of the Mind programmes that he achieves his results using a combination of "magic, suggestion, psychology, misdirection and showmanship". When he says magic, he refers to the methods used by magicians.
He already did. However the "how-to" on the trick will never be made public. Otherwise, if it indeed was the power of the mind rather than an illusion, everybody would be using the trick to win the lottery.
The only person who can answer that question is Derren himself. Aside from a psychological illusionist, he is also an author and an artist. But according to celebrity gossip sources, Derren himself is worth over £5million ($7.5million USD). Derren has exposed rich "horoscope readers", "faith healers" and so on to the public before and revealed the illusions they use to trick people out of their money. Derren openly despises people who use illusion for pure profit. Most of his income actually comes from his books and art.
