Download the map, and open a new window in Finder. The search for Library, and in that folder there will be another folder called Application Support. Look for the minecraft folder, then open the saves folder and drag in the custom map. There are a lot of folders, but you can also put texture packs in similarly, but put them in texture packs instead of saves.
