If you have a fuel pump then find the fuel relay and pull it, with a jump wire jump pin 30 to 87 and fuel should flow. If you have no fuel pump, then force air into return line and fuel should flow.
Do not try to run the engine. Drain and clean the tank. Change any fuel filters. Then try to start.
If the van is a diesel, then you need to get the unleaded fuel out of the tank and drain all fuel lines and change the filter. This will damage your diesel engine. If you only put a small amount, such as a couple of gallons, then just drain the tank.If the van is a diesel, then you need to get the unleaded fuel out of the tank and drain all fuel lines and change the filter. Empty your tank out, drain the fuel lines, as the gasoline will damage your diesel engine.
It will do damage to a diesel engine. Drain the tank and flush the fuel lines. Do not run this engine with unleaded gasoline in the tank.
If the van has a diesel engine, then you MUST use diesel fuel. Unleaded gasoline will destroy a diesel engine. Diesel fuel is also used as a lubricant in a diesel engine. The use of any other fuel except diesel will result in serious damage. If you filled it with more than a couple of gallons, you will need to drain the fuel tank and fill it up with unleaded fuel. It will not hurt the engine to run it with the little diesel left in the tank. You may also have the drain all the fuel lines to get it started. I would also replace the fuel filter.
Diesel engines have a much higher compression ratio than gasoline engines. Therefore, you need to drain all the gas you can out of you tank and fill it with diesel.
if you mistakenly put gas in tank instead of diesel, just drain or syphon gas out of tank refill with diesel and go on the gas will actually clean injectors but wont do any damage to the engine gasoline used to be added to diesel by truckers, in the winter to stop diesel from gelling. you make get some black smoke from exhaust till gasoline is gone ,but a little gas wont hurt the engine

you will have to drain the gas tank and flush the gas line with a gas line conditioner that you can get at a auto parts store.
Drain the whole thing ... the two fluids mix well. (but a few percent diesel will not hurt a gas engine.)
If you accidentally mixed the two in your fuel tank it would be best to drain the tank and dispose of the contaminated fuel properly. Separating it would not be possible.
