To drain the radiator of a 1993 Chrysler New Yorker, you have to open the petcock on the radiator completely and drain the coolant into a container.
There is no engine block drain plug on a 1996 Chevy Lumina. You drain from the radiator using the plastic plug at the bottom.
i just disconnected the lower hose
On my 1997 & 1998 Luminas, the drain is on the lower drivers side of the radiator. Be careful, they break easily. If it is alredy broken, you will have to use the lower radiator hose.

There may not be one, My 2000 Lumina has a plug on the lower drivers side of the radiator that can be replaced with a petcock. Rather than do this I removed the lower radiator hose to facilitate flushing the cooling system.
If you mean the radiator drain plug.. its at the bottom of the radiator on the left hand side...
If there is no petcock on the bottom of the radiator then you must remove the lower radiator hose to drain it.
look on the lower part of the radiator in one of the corners. If it is easier, pull the lower hose to drain.
