where is the drain plug on a 99 Chevy lumina where is the radiator drain plug on a 99 Chevy lumina I am not completely sure about the 99 but I drive a 95 lumina and the radiator drain plug is located to the right of the radiator (if you are looking under the hood) and at the bottom of the housing for the radiator. To drain the radiator of a 1993 Chrysler New Yorker, you have to open the petcock on the radiator completely and drain the coolant into a container.
i just disconnected the lower hose
There is no engine block drain plug on a 1996 Chevy Lumina. You drain from the radiator using the plastic plug at the bottom.
There's a drain plug on the bottom passenger side of the radiator. Unscrew it and the coolant will drain.
On my 1997 & 1998 Luminas, the drain is on the lower drivers side of the radiator. Be careful, they break easily. If it is alredy broken, you will have to use the lower radiator hose.
drivers side on bottom of radiator it is plastic and on mine it is light green
If you mean the radiator drain plug.. its at the bottom of the radiator on the left hand side...
If there is no petcock on the bottom of the radiator then you must remove the lower radiator hose to drain it.
Look on bottom or rear of radiator
look on the lower part of the radiator in one of the corners. If it is easier, pull the lower hose to drain.
