Their are 2 fuel filters on a 6.0L Primary which is on the driver side frame rail and the secondary in the engine compartment (next to the oil filter the small one) You can change the filters to drain the water of their is a "Block" on the side of the Primary filter. Using a Allen wrench you can remove the plug and drain the fuel. Be sure to turn key on for 20-30 sec after completing to purge the air. if it won't run or dies out after the process the air usually gets trapped in the small secondary filter in the engine bay. Loosen cap to remove air (watch-out it will be under good pressure) and retest.
under the truck on the inside of the driver side frame rail next to the transmission it looks like a little black thing the drain is in front of the circle
The sensor in the fuel filter housing is bad. I had the same problem on my 2003 6.0L F-350. I had the Ford dealership change the sensor ($110.00) and I have not had the light come since.
Little white knob under fuel filter. Haven't even touched mine after 10k... probably will sooner or later. I trust my fuel sources. Remember, diesel fuel looks like water, so drain an ounce or so, then check to see if there is any separation of fuel and water. You will probably just drain good ol' fuel.. smell will give it away..
The water separator for a 2003 Jetta is built in with the fuel filter. It is located at the bottom of the filter, and should be drained every 10k miles. If you are performing your normal 20k service maintenance you probably don't need to worry too much, due to the fact that you change the fuel filter every 20k miles.
What kind of drain, oil or water? The oil drain plug is at the rear and at the bottom of the oil pan.
on the inner side of the frame rail underneath the driver door. fuel filter is right next to the oil filter.
Change the fuel filter or drain the water out of the fuel filter.
use a ball joint separator
there is no drain plug
The 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier radiator drain petcock is located on the bottom of the radiator. The drain will be towards the right side of the radiator.
It does not have a drain plug. You have to remove the pan to drain fluid.
It has no drain plug on the A/T.
