If you draw the picture of the problem you are working on then it can help you better see what you are doing.
In math terms, it means to prove your answer and make sure it is right.
You have to explain your answer. So when it says; Show your work or Show how you got your answer you should draw a picture or explain it.

text feature can help under sand math because if u need to use a picture to solve a problem u can always draw a picture and witch help the person figure out the problem and u can label your work in bold or italic words if needed
I am an artist myself, and know how. for drawing a picture, and wanting to make it bigger,-through art of course- you need to graph, witch takes math work to get it right.
prove- show someone that you can do it, or show someone somthing that they dont believe.
Takes a while of practice if you have like a math book with a pentagon then just copy it through the paper or look at an image until you get it right. for example i couldn't draw a star when i was in 6th grade.
